Windows 8 and Windows 10

If you have upgraded to Windows 10 or still running Windows 8 then you can make use of the built in safety features, but you need to configure them. There is advice from Microsoft here:

If you haven’t upgraded to Windows 10 we recommend you do this to keep up to date with the latest security fixes and enhancements.
